The Prince’s Trust chose Hatchford Brook's
conservation area as one of its community projects during the
October 09 half term. The students packed bags in Marks & Spencer's
to raise over 300 pounds, which enabled them to purchase much needed
supplies for the renovation of the conservation area. They worked
extremely hard by realigning the pond, creating a secret garden,
providing seating areas for the children.
On the 6th November, the Mayor of Solihull and
his wife were guest of honour at the official opening of the
conservation area. |
